I’ve finally gotten around to getting another set of street art photos together. The previous set was from South Congress; this time its from Guadalupe.
Here’s a bird – it looked like it had actually been hand painted in that powder kids’ paint that we all used as kids.
And on the corner of Guadalupe and 29th – Michelangelo’s Pieta on a cut out medical cross.
Followed by a rip-off of the Obey concept – with crown of thorns.
And finally, some pseudo-spiritual philosophical rambling on a US postal mail address label.
It says:
This is all there is to everything. explore it. feel its groovs, its corners & cracks. find the cubyholes & the Caverns, the sinkholes & the mountens of reality. This looking, this seeking is all there really is to do & the earlyer you start the more you will see in this time which I think you will find is all to cruelly short.
